20 Must-Have Trader Joe’s Products and 3 to Avoid

Everyone loves Trader Joes. At least everyone I know! It’s budget friendly, innovative, and more sustainable than other grocery chains. Trader Joe’s makes many of their own exclusive products in addition to fresh produce, dairy, meats, canned goods, and other essentials that you would find at a regular store. I find myself choosing to shop at Trader Joe’s to obtain these exclusive products, so I tend to shop there for other items as well (what a good business strategy!). While there are a few products you should avoid for lack of quality and taste, there are many to add to your grocery list. Here are my 20 favorites:

  1. Everything but the bagel seasoning
  2. Vegan kale, cashew, and basil pesto
  3. Sweet potato gnocchi
  4. Spicy hummus dip
  5. Cookie butter ice cream
  6. Sunflower butter chocolate cups
  7. Green goddess salad dressing
  8. Champagne pear vinaigrette dressing
  9. Butternut squash ravioli
  10. Coffee lovers chocolate espresso beans
  11. Reduced guilt chunky guacamole
  12. Crunchy salted peanut butter with chia and flax seeds
  13. Creamy salted cashew butter
  14. Dried okra chips
  15. Elote corn chip dippers
  16. Strawberry oat milk ice cream
  17. Chocolate chip cookie dunkers
  18. Almond cutter chocolate cups
  19. Pesto tortellini
  20. Vegetable samosas

Here are 3 that I personally did not like and would not buy again:

  1. Stuffed gnocchi
  2. Riced cauliflower bowl
  3. Tomato basil hummus

Even more exciting is the fact that Trader Joe’s is always making new products. Trader Joe’s makes grocery shopping simple. But also, there are a few key products that you might have to make a second stop to obtain.
